What is an AI readiness assessment?
An AI readiness assessment answers one question for owners and leadership teams: where, specifically, will AI and automation make or save us money, and what has to be true before it works? Instead of buying a tool and hoping, you get an objective map of your operations, your data and your systems, and a ranked list of opportunities with the effort and return of each.
Most businesses we meet already know AI matters. What they lack is clarity: which processes to start with, which tools fit, whether their data is usable, and how to avoid paying for software nobody adopts. The assessment exists to give you that clarity in a few weeks.
What does the assessment include?
- Leadership and team interviews. We learn how work actually moves through sales, operations, service and admin, including the workarounds that never make it into a procedure manual.
- Process mapping. We document your highest-volume workflows step by step and flag manual handoffs, duplicate data entry, delays and error points.
- Systems and data audit. We review your CRM, accounting, scheduling, e-commerce and operations tools, how they connect today, and whether your data is clean and accessible enough for AI.
- Opportunity scoring. Every candidate for AI, automation or integration is scored on time saved, cost impact, revenue impact, risk and difficulty.
- Risk, security and policy review. We cover data privacy, vendor risk and a practical AI use policy so your team can use AI tools safely.
- A phased roadmap. You receive a 30/60/90-day plan with recommended tools, estimated costs and the order to do things in.
Who is it for?
The assessment is designed for established businesses, typically with a team and real operational complexity, that want to use AI responsibly and profitably. It is especially valuable if you have tried a tool or two without results, if your systems do not talk to each other, or if growth is adding admin work faster than revenue.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
Most assessments take two to three weeks from kickoff to final readout, depending on the number of departments and systems involved. The assessment is offered at a fixed fee agreed up front, so there are no surprises. If you choose to implement the roadmap with us, we scope that work separately and you decide what is worth doing.
What happens after the assessment?
You own the roadmap. Some clients implement it with their internal team, some hire us for specific pieces such as business process automation or systems integration, and some engage us for ongoing performance optimization. Either way, you will know exactly what to do next and why.
